Pompano Live Sculpture

Created for the entrance to Pompano Live in Pompano Beach, Florida, Vivacious is a 20-foot contemporary stainless steel sculpture designed to capture the vibrant energy and coastal spirit of one of South Florida’s newest entertainment destinations. Commissioned through a collaboration with The Cordish Companies and the City of Pompano Beach, the sculpture serves as a landmark that welcomes visitors while reinforcing the identity of this exciting mixed-use development.

From the earliest stages of the project, our team worked closely with the developer, city representatives, architects, and project stakeholders to create a sculpture that reflected the vision for Pompano Live. The goal was to design an iconic work of public art that embodied movement, celebration, and the dynamic character of the city while complementing the contemporary architecture and surrounding landscape.

The sculpture’s sweeping stainless steel forms spiral upward toward a mirror-polished sphere, creating a composition that evokes ocean currents, coastal winds, and the continuous motion of the Atlantic shoreline. As sunlight moves across its reflective surfaces, Vivacious captures the surrounding landscape and ever-changing Florida sky, ensuring the sculpture offers a unique visual experience throughout the day and from every approach.
