Ethereal Bliss is a 25-foot monumental stainless steel sculpture created as the signature centerpiece for a prominent roundabout within The Aurora Highlands in Aurora, Colorado. Designed to serve as a landmark for one of Colorado’s largest master-planned communities, the sculpture celebrates movement, optimism, and the boundless opportunities that define a thriving new destination.
Inspired by the graceful movement of wind, light, and the natural landscape, Ethereal Bliss is composed of sweeping stainless steel forms that rise and intertwine in a dynamic composition. From every approach to the roundabout, the sculpture reveals a new perspective, while its mirror-polished surfaces capture the changing Colorado sky and surrounding landscape, creating an ever-evolving visual experience throughout the day.
The sculpture was thoughtfully designed to become more than a gateway—it was created as a defining symbol of the community. Working closely with the development team, architects, landscape architects, and project stakeholders, we developed a design that complements the surrounding architecture while creating a memorable arrival experience for residents and visitors alike. Positioned within the heart of the landscape, Ethereal Bliss reinforces the identity of The Aurora Highlands and establishes a lasting sense of place.
